Mateja Dunjić — national champion in Serbian language and literature!

We are proud to share some great news — our player Mateja Dunjić has become the national champion of Serbia in Serbian language and literature!

Mateja is a pupil at the „Miodrag Čajetinac Čajka“ primary school in Trstenik and a member of our U15 (pioneers) team. The title of national champion is the highest recognition a pupil can win at school competitions — and the result of a lot of reading, studying and work away from the public eye.

The same persistence and focus Mateja shows in the classroom can be seen at training too. At KK Trstenik we believe that sport and education build on each other — a player who knows how to think, read and learn brings the same to the court.

Congratulations to Mateja, his family and the teachers who guided him to this success. Well done, Mateja — a champion both at school and on the court!
